PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem that a stopper member cannot be pulled out of a roller and sufficient insertion cannot be provided in a rattling preventive mechanism to insert the wedge body stopper member into the roller on a conventional seat sliding device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This seat sliding device for the vehicle is furnished with the rattling preventive mechanism 5 to prevent rattling against a lower rail 2 of an upper rail 3 in a locked state, and this rattling preventive mechanism 5 has a reinforce 21 to move back and forth by a disc spring 19 and is constituted free to move a tongue piece 22 of the reinforce 21 along a taper surface 18 provided on a bottom part 13 of a sliding part 7 in the locked state and to prevent rattling between the both rails 2, 3 by strongly pressing the tongue piece 22 against an end surface 16 of a flange 12 of the lower rail 2.
