PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable radiation to be raised and cooling performance to be improved relatively easily in keeping with the improvement in a motor rating. SOLUTION: The motor cooling structure has a motor frame 104 equipped with a front flange 104a, a rear flange 104b and a stator frame 104c; a stator fixed on the stator frame 104c; a coil fixed on the stator; a rotor disposed in the inside of the stator in close proximity; and a cooling fan 32 disposed, in the outside of the stator frame 104c, opposite to the stator frame 104c and cooling the outer surface of the stator frame 104c. In this case, since the cooling fan 32 is disposed opposite to the stator frame 104c in the outside of the stator frame 104c and cools the outer surface of the stator frame 104c, it is possible to enhance the radiation.
