PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which improves the efficiency of an operation to join a flexible wiring substrate to a recording head; diminishes the incidence of generated jointing defects and short circuits of electrodes; and can deal with even large power to many nozzles, and a method for manufacturing this inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording device, a plurality of individual wiring patterns 50 on the flexible wiring substrate 27a have protruding individual bumps 54y and 54m corresponding to individual electrodes on the recording head, and a common wiring pattern 51 has a protruding common bump 54 corresponding to a common electrode on the recording head. In addition, the flexible wiring substrate 27a and the recording head are superposed over each other with an anisotropic conductive member 53 extending over all the individual bumps 54y and 54m, inserted between the substrate 27a and the head and heated while being pressed. Thus, the individual bumps 54y and 54m and the individual electrodes of the recording head are electrically connected together by conductive particles inside the anisotropic conductive member 53, At the same time, the common bump 54 is melted and electrically connected with the common electrode of the recording head.
