An exhaust gas flow through an SCR muffler and the purifying efficiency of nitrogen oxides (NOx) contained in the exhaust gas are improved, and vehicle vibration received by a supplying nozzle for a reducing agent or the like and vibration by the effect of exhaust gas or the like are controlled or eased, whereby the purifying efficiency of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by an SCR catalyst is improved, and the durability of the supplying nozzle for a reducing agent or the like is also improved. The inventive muffler comprises an SCR catalyst (1) for selectively reducing and purifying nitrogen oxides (NOx) contained in the exhaust gas, an exhaust pipe (2) for passing the exhaust gas into the SCR catalyst (1), and supplying means (3) for a reducing agent or the like for supplying a reducing agent or a reducing agent precursor to the exhaust gas, wherein a plate (4) having air holes (5) for dispersing and uniforming an exhaust gas flow is provided on the downstream side of the supplying means (3) and on the upstream side of the SCR catalyst (1), the air holes (5) being not provided at the center that blocks the exhaust pipe (2) but a plurality of circular air holes (5) being disposed in a concentric and staggered forms only at the periphery portion of an area having a diameter larger than that of the drain pipe, and a plate (40) having air holes (5) is inserted into a supplying nozzle (30) for a reducing agent or the like that is a kind of the supplying means (3) for a reducing agent or the like, this plate (40) being supported on the exhaust pipe (2).
