<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel cell using a solid electrolyte formed of an LSGM-based composition, and capable of providing high output density in an initial stage, and of keeping the high output density over a long time; and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This solid electrolyte type fuel cell is composed by forming an oxygen electrode layer 2 on one side of the solid electrolyte 1 formed of a (La, Sr)(Ga, Mg)O<SB>3</SB>-based composition and a fuel electrode layer 3 on the other side thereof. The fuel cell is characterized by that a reaction prevention layer 4 formed of an oxide containing La and Ce is formed between the solid electrolyte 1 and the oxygen electrode layer 2 and/or the fuel electrode layer 3; and the solid electrolyte 1, the reaction prevention layer 4 and the oxygen electrode layer 2 and/or the fuel electrode layer 3 are baked at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
