<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device for further improving the degree of security in data without causing encrypted data handled by the device to be read freely by others. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming device for forming images on a paper sheet based on encrypted image data comprises an IC chip reader for reading a decryption key written into the IC chip included in the paper sheet, and an image formation permitting means for permitting execution of the image formation according to the image data when the image data can be decrypted by the decryption key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
