<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable irradiation of laser beam hybridized by solid state laser medium and LD so as to prolong the life of LD. <P>SOLUTION: A first laser light source 4 consisting of a solid state laser medium 3 excited with a lamp, and a first and a second laser beams 7 and 8 outputted from a second laser light source 6 consisting of an LD 5 are made to superimpose, and to irradiate as a hybrid laser beam 9 for the use of processing or the like. When outputting the first and second laser beams 7 and 8, after the first laser light source 4 is made active by its excitation, the excitation of the second laser light source 6 is started.
