PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal such as a mobile phone terminal whereby a user can recognize a surrounding state to some degree while viewing a displayed sentence or the like. SOLUTION: The communication terminal includes a communication means for carrying out wireless communication, a photographing means, and a display means and is configured such that the display means displays an image photographed with the photographing means and a superimposed application menu related to communication processing by the communication means.
