SCREEN PRINT METHOD AND APPARATUS USING CREAM SOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen print method and an apparatus which eliminate a print miss to improve printing by a cream solder when the printing is carried out for a metal mask that has microscopic openings or greater thickness. SOLUTION: The screen print method includes the steps of superposing the metal mask 14 having the openings 16 on the surface of a board 17, moving a squeegee 15 on the surface of the metal mask 14 to fill the openings 16 with the cream solder 40 and leaving residual solder 19 which is not filled into the openings 16 at the end of the travel of the squeegee 15, separating and retreating the squeegee 15 from the surface of the metal mask 14, sticking a pressure chamber 12 closely to the metal mask 14 to apply pressure on the metal mask 14 in a state where the chamber 12 covers the travel surface of the squeegee 15 and the residual solder 19 on the metal mask 14 but does not include the squeegee 15, and separating the board 17 from the metal mask 14.
