PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a 5-amino-1-substituted pyridinopyrazole compound useful as a coupler for a recording material, a synthetic intermediate for a dye, an intermediate for a medicine and an agrochemical. SOLUTION: The 5-amino-1-substituted pyridinopyrazole compound is represented by general formula (1) (R1and R2are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or the like or R1and R2may be mutually bonded to form a ring; R3is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or the like; R4, R5, R6and R7are each a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group or the like; at least one of R4, R5, R6and R7is a group except a hydrogen atom).
