<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing fine power saving control for every image processing function to be performed even when image processing functions independently realized by a plurality of applications in the conventional case are integrated into a single application by specifying a power saving possible part by a combination of an input mode of an image to be processed and an output mode of the image after processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor is constituted so that a power saving control means specifies the image input mode and the image output mode regarding an image processing function selected when a predetermined power saving state transition request is generated among the plurality of image processing functions, specifies a part unrelated to the image processing function in the combinations of the specified input and output modes of each part constituting the power saving possible part and applies control to reduce power consumption only to the specified part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
