<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus of which the visual inspection and the operation of an operation part are easy and which has successful operability for the user of a wheelchair, etc. without using a complicated mechanism and without increasing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The operation part 20 is provided to the upper front surface of the main body 2 of the image forming apparatus 1 and constituted of a slope 21 which has an inclination angle of 45° from the floor surface. Thus, characters and signs described in the operation part 20 can be visually inspected from an upper part and a front part. A button 30 forms the solid shape projected from the slope 21, is provided with a horizontal plane on the upper surface and a perpendicular plane on the front surface and the same character or sign is described on the horizontal plane and the perpendicular plane which one button 30 has. The slope 21 is provided with a plurality of openings 22 formed in the normal direction to the slope 21 and buttons 30 attached to each opening 22 and the same result is obtained even when the buttons 30 are depressed from any direction of the upper part and the front by slope actions between the openings 22 and the buttons 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
