PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the device and prevent a recording head discharge from failing. SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording device, a preliminary discharge aperture is opened only on one side of the device and a recording means in a standby state for data accumulation, is stopped only on the preliminary discharge aperture side and records the data while reciprocating, if necessary, by carrying out the preliminary discharge during the stoppage and without stopping for data accumulation halfway.
