PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having high display effect on a person. SOLUTION: In a display content recording part 2, contents to be displayed on a display screen 8 are recorded. An access means 4 is for accessing and reading out the recording contents recorded in the display content recording part 2. A control means 6 reads the recording contents out of the display content recording part 2 through the access means 4 and displays them on the display screen 8. A sensor 12 detects whether a person is present nearby the display screen 8. A standing stop judgement means 10 judges whether a person stops and stands nearby the display screen 8 on receiving the output of the sensor 12.
