PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing mechanism for a spectacle frame rim that can effectively preventing a fixing screw from being loosen, securely and stably fix a component such as an end-piece and a bridge to a rim, and easily change a spectacle design by replacing parts. SOLUTION: The fixing mechanism comprises: the rim 1 which has a couple of upper and lower sleeve projection 11 and 11 at necessary positions of an outer peripheral edge; a joint component 2 which is a connecting member mounted on an end of the end-piece E and/or bridge B and has a rim surrounding groove 22 on a surface facing the rim 1 and also has through holes 21, into which sleeve projections 11 of the rim 1 can be inserted, bored in the groove bottom of the rim surrounding groove 22; and a cover component 3 which is a plate type body applied and fixed to an outer surface of the joint component 2 and at least covers the screw head 41 of the fixing screw 4 fitted into screw receiving holes 11a bored in the sleeve projections 11 of the rim 1 which are inserted into the through holes 21 of the joint component 2.
