PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain ski wax improving the slidability of snow instruments including ski. SOLUTION: The ski wax is obtained by incorporating an organic solvent with a fluorocarbon and metallic particles to dissolve or disperse them in the solvent. In the ski wax, the organic solvent is an ether-based one, the fluorocarbon is represented by the general formula:C<SB>n</SB>F<SB>2n+2</SB>( n is an integer ), being a mixture with n=10, 12, 14, 16 and 18, and the metallic particles consist of at least one metal selected from gold, copper and gallium.
