SOLID PESTICIDE FORMULATION FOR DUST COATING OF SEED RICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid pesticidal formulation for dust coating which is deposited on a seed rice within a shorter time without imparting stickiness to the seed rice and sufficiently exerts its effect on the dust-coated seed rice without causing any adverse reaction by a pesticidal active ingredient, and a dust-coating method. SOLUTION: The solid pesticidal formulation for dust coating of the seed rice comprises (a) penta-4-enyl=N-furfuryl-N-imidazol-1-ylcaronyl-DL-homoalaninate as the pesticidal active ingredient, (b) a glassy powder which is obtained by pulverizing a glassy foam and comprises irregularly-shaped pieces whose apparent specific density is 0.01-0.1 and whose linseed oil absorption is 100-400 ml/100g and (c) an nonionic surfactant and/or an anionic surfactant.
