PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doorway device of an elevator hall equipped with a manual screen closing device capable of reducing the cost by simplifying the installing structure of the screen closing device. SOLUTION: The doorway device of the elevator hall includes the manual screen closing device 7 fitted in a vertical frame 3 as a constituent part of a three-side frame of a type where a smoke/flame shutoff screen is installed, and a single piece installing constitution is accomplished. This eliminates necessity for installing the manual screen closing device 7 on the wall of the elevator hall separately from the jamb 3, eliminates necessity for conducting the examination about the fitting arrangement with a building wall and also a preparatory work for installation, and allows reducing the installation cost and also enhancement of the design quality of the wall surface of the hall.
