PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug processing method for a resin mold for processing the surface of a plug by wet etching to form a large number of sharp recessed embossed bottomes. SOLUTION: The surface of the plug 1 is processed to form a large number of embosses 2 by a first process for covering the surface of the plug 1 with a first masking sheet 3a having narrow slits 4 corresponding to the circumference of a circle of each of the embosses 2 provided thereto and coating the same with the etching solution to form small width ring grooves with a required depth to the surface of the plug 1 by wet etching processing and a second process for covering the surface of the plug 1 obtained in the first process with a second masking sheet 3b provided with circular holes 6 having the same diameter as the narrow ring grooves 5 so as to allow the circular holes 6 to coincide with the narrow ring grooves 5 to coat the same with the etching solution and applying wet etching processing to the embosses 2 having the narrow ring grooves 5 as inner peripheral circles.
