PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbubble generator capable of suppressing the generation of large bubbles when the drive of a pump is stopped, and saving power without giving destabilizing factors to a user. SOLUTION: The microbubble generator 10 is provided with an air mixing part 5 for supplying air into bath water A, the pump 6 driven by a motor for jetting the bath water A and the air, a tank 7 for mixing the bath water A and the air jetted from the pump 6 and an air release valve 9 for discharging excessive air inside the tank 7 to the outside in a reflux path 4 for taking out the bath water A inside a bathtub 1 from a suction port 2 and making it flow back to a blow-off port 3. The microbubble generator 10 is provided with a pressure sensor for detecting the internal pressure of the tank 7 and a control block 13 for continuing the drive of the pump 6 while gradually reducing the rotation number of the pump 6 corresponding to a change in pressure value detected in the pressure sensor, reducing the rotation number of the pump 6 to the rotation number sufficient to send out the bath water A and the air and then stopping the drive of the pump 6 when a stop operation by the user is performed.
