PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple spinning reel having a simple constitution, enabling easy repair and exchange and also improving the freedom of its production including its design. SOLUTION: This spinning reel for fishing is provided by constituting the part of an outer wall ranging from the bottom part to the rear part and leg part 13 of the reel body 10 with a cover 18 formed separately from a first covering member 20 mounted on the reel body 10 and a second covering member 21 mounted on the first covering member 20 as overlapped, and made as one unit.
