The material comprises a set of cards, each one representing a picture of a ladybird with ten spots. Each card has a different number of spots coloured in to represent different numbers. The cards are made from a material which enables them to be drawn on with a wipeable pen so that the children can colour in the spots themselves and the cards can then be wiped clean afterwards.
