<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium excellent in fastness to ozone gas, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording medium where an ink absorbing layer is provided on a substrate, when the ozone gas is continuously generated and the inkjet recording medium is treated by the ozone gas with fixed concentration and flow rate, the ozone absorption of the inkjet recording medium is 1.0×10<SP>-4</SP>mol/m<SP>2</SP>or more; the ink absorbing layer contains porous particulates; and the ink absorbing layer also contains at least one kind selected from among a compound with a carbon multiple bond, a compound with a sulphur atom, and a compound with a nitrogen-oxygen double bond. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
