<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus and an optical information recording and/or reproducing apparatus in which dustproof of a laser light source and a photodetector can be performed surely with simple structure without using new parts or by decreasing parts to be used as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is the optical pickup apparatus in which at least either of a laser light source 25 radiating a light beam so as to face to an information recording plane of an optical disk 50 to record and/or reproduce an information signal and a photodetector 26 receiving a return light beam reflected by the information recording plane is incorporated in an electric circuit part in a state in which it is not covered by a package.
