<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which information (such as image density, image variable magnification ratio, image layout, the number of print output, processing regarding specification of an image printing surface)regarding a part of print processing to an information input means for inputting information regarding the print processing can not be input while a sheet detection means detects a sheet by providing the sheet detection means for detecting printed and output sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When a sheet transfer button is depressed by a user during continuous printing, the printing under performance is halted and a sheet 12 is transferred by a sheet transfer member. Then, the setting of the image forming device is changed from an operation invalid state to an operation valid state in several seconds after the sheet is no longer detected by the sensor. After that, when a start button is depressed again, the sheet transfer member is returned to an original position.
