PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight fiber reinforced pressure vessel having sufficient pressure tightness, and housing liquefied petroleum gas or the like such as natural gas, or liquefied butane gas. SOLUTION: In the fiber reinforce pressure vessel 1, a shell 3 of the cylindrical vessel is reinforced by a fiber reinforced composite sheet 5. The fiber reinforced composite sheet 5 with filaments 6 arranged in one direction and impregnated with resin 7 is wrapped around the shell 3 of the vessel 1 such that the filaments 6 are perpendicular to an axial direction 8 of the shell 3, and the resin 7 is solidified.
