MOLDING METHOD OF PARTIALLY FOAMED RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method making it possible to easily mold a resin product intended to maintain a high mechanical strength and to reduce the weight together. SOLUTION: A molten molding material prepared by making a thermoplastic resin contain a foaming agent is injected into an ordinary mold for injection molding and cooled down with a prescribed follow-up pressure applied thereto, so that a partially foamed resin product 1 be molded. The mold is so shaped as to provide the resin product 1 with a thick-wall part 2 and this thick-wall part 2 is foamed. Moreover a carbon dioxide or nitrogen is used as the foaming agent.
