PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method which can smoothen an outer peripheral surface of jointed portions and can join members in a short period of time. SOLUTION: In the joining method, the joining end face 11a of a rod shape first member 11 having dielectric property and the joining end face 12a of a rod shape second member 12 having dielectric property are heated by plasma flames and are pushed to each other.
