PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device provided with a low-costed telescopic adjusting mechanism part easy to be operated. SOLUTION: This steering column device is provided with the telescopic adjusting mechanism part 4 in an outer column 5 of a steering column 2, and an operation lever 7 is operated to turn to displace a collar 9 fitted on a telescopic bolt 8 through a cam part 13A provided in an end of a rotation transmitting rod 13, and an interval between lock nuts 10 and 11 is controlled to lock and unlock the inner column 6.
