PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching device and an information service system that contribute to reduction in user's operating burden. SOLUTION: A crawling section 21 performs crawling while changing sequentially an extension header for indicating phonetic expression capability during HTTP request into the phonetic expression capability of a representative model within each of model groups. Then, the crawling section 21 makes the results obtained correspond to model names within the model group to register the results in a search index 22C. The search service providing section 23 searches from the search index 22C depending on a search condition (a key word or the like) from a mobile phone terminal device 50 and on the model name during the HTTP request. A response section 23b produces the search results depending on a template 22D, transmitting the search results to a Web browser 530 of the mobile phone terminal device 50 via a HTTP server 23A.
