PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor element capable of suppressing fracture at the valve metal part of an anode terminal, and to provide an electrolytic capacitor and their production process. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor 100 comprises a substrate 20 having an anode land electrode 23, and an electrolytic capacitor element 1 formed thereon. The electrolytic capacitor element 1 comprises an aluminium substrate 4 having an anode terminal 5 and an oxide film 13 formed on the surface of an aluminium part 3, and a cathode part 7 having an electrolyte layer 8 formed around the aluminium substrate 4 excepting the anode terminal 5 and a conductor layer 10 formed around the electrolyte layer 8. End face 5e of the anode terminal 5 is not covered with the oxide film 13 but the aluminium part 3 is exposed to the end face 5e of the anode terminal 5. End face 5e of the anode terminal 5 in the electrolytic capacitor element 1 is connected with the anode land electrode 23 on the substrate 20 by a conductive member 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
