PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing resin composition for a liquid crystal display element having high adhesiveness to a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display element and capable of manufacturing the liquid crystal display element having excellent display stability, to provide a sealant for the liquid crystal display element, to provide a vertical conductive material and to provide the liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The curing resin composition for the liquid crystal display element contains a resin having an imide group. The curing resin composition for the liquid crystal display element preferably contains a curing resin usually used for a sealant in addition to the resin having the imide group. Such the curing resin is not especially limited but an epoxy resin and a (meth)acrylic resin are suitable for the curing resin because of their prompt reaction processes and satisfactory adhesiveness.
