PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a check valve for refrigerant attached to a compressor of refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: The check valve 10 pressed in a housing 1 of the refrigerant compressor is provided with a valve body 100, a valve element 200, a coil spring 300, and a stopper member 400. The valve body 100 includes an outer tube part 110 and an inner tube part 120, and the valve element 200 is inserted in the inner tube part 120. An upper part of the inner tube part 120 is caulked inward to form a caulking part 122 and to fix the stopper member 400. The coil spring 300 presses the valve element 200 against an input port 130 of refrigerant to prevent reverse flow of refrigerant of fixed pressure or higher. When refrigerant pressure at the input port 130 rises, the valve element 200 lifts to make refrigerant in a compression chamber 3 flow out toward an output port 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
