SEDIMENT COLLECTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment collecting apparatus capable of suppressing lateral jetting of a fluid near the soft water bottom ground such as bottom mud or a silt layer. SOLUTION: This sediment collecting apparatus 1 comprises a hollow guide pipe 2 and a jet pipe 3 charged inside the guide pipe 2, to collect sediment deposited on the water bottom ground. The tip part of the jet pipe 3 is formed in double pipe structure of an inner pipe 32 and an outer pipe 31, and the fluid jetted laterally from the inner pipe 32 is controlled by the outer pipe 31 moved along the axial direction of the inner pipe 32.
