PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which can enhance usability by enabling an ink absorber to be simply disposed of, without making a user touch the ink absorber after use, in the replacement of the ink absorber, and by enabling simple ink absorber loading. SOLUTION: This inkjet printer is equipped with a recording head 5 wherein a plurality of nozzles 8 for ejecting ink are formed, and an ink wiping device 12 for removing the ink adhering to a nozzle surface of the nozzle 8; and the device 12 is equipped with an ink wiping device body 26 and a cassette 27 which is detachably attached inside the device body 26 and inside which the ink absorber 25 is housed.
