PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator in a tunnel indicating a safe evacuating direction for avoiding danger without newly attaching a direction indicating lamp when a trouble in the tunnel occurs. SOLUTION: This indicating device electro-optically displays indicating parts 4a and 4b composed of left/right directional arrows and distances, and a guide mark 3 and, when a trouble such as a fire occurs, is adapted to electro-optically display a direction advantageous in safety, for example the left side indicating part 4a and the guide mark 3 and turn off the right side indicating part 4b.
