PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensioner of a horizontal master rope which is tightened between poles for preventing a spiderman from falling under construction of high-rise buildings, and to take effect for a wire rope, especially for a synthetic resin-coated wire rope. SOLUTION: The tensioner has a mechanism for obtaining necessary tensile strength by easily making fine adjustment, a winding mechanism capable of setting at the middle position of the wire rope in the longitudinal direction, and a buffering mechanism for absorbing and alleviating high shock load while falling.
