<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet-based merchandise order reception and sales management system that allows a merchandise seller to perform efficient and economical sales activities. <P>SOLUTION: The order reception and sales management system includes an affiliate 1 having both a commerce server 4 connected to the Internet and a system server 7 that manages an operating organization; a Web agent 2 connected to a system server to advertise the merchandise that a client 5 sells; and a client 5 that manages the sales of the merchandise.
