<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission method and an information transmission system, which enable an image information transmission side to edit image information on the same condition as an image information information reception side and don't increase the labor for image information transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A server (4) is provided which is capable of providing a user (5) with information (information relating to articles and services to be provided, advertisement information, update information, and others) (3) including image information (which may be information of still images or moving images), which an information provider (for example, various shops and stores) (1) has sent by using a mobile phone (2).
