PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data presentation apparatus for improving a tactile sensation when the inclination of a support arm is changed so as to enhance the operability. SOLUTION: The data presentation apparatus is formed by turnably fitting a support part (1) for supporting an imaging apparatus (20) or a projector (2) to a main body (50) via a turning mechanism (60). The turning mechanism includes: a cam (4A) provided to a main body side or a support part side and apart from a turning shaft by a prescribed distance rθwithin a prescribed angular range around the turning shaft (R); a slide part (5) provided to the other and relatively sliding on the cam attended with the turning of the support part; and pressing means (6, 7, 4B) for pressing the slide part onto the cam with a prescribed pressing force, and let an angle between a line tying a gravity center (G) of the support part and the imaging apparatus or the projector supported thereby with the turning center and an orthogonal line of a stage (21) beθ, then the cam is formed at the prescribed distance D (rθ), rθ=a×sinθ+b, wherein a, b are constants.
