PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in durability and fixability. SOLUTION: The toner contains aggregation particles comprising aggregations of resin particles. The aggregation particles have a network structure in which the resin particles combine with each other only at surfaces. Such a toner is prepared by preparing resin particles using a monomer having a functional group such as a carboxyl group or an epoxy group, and by bonding functional groups in the resin particles to each other through a network forming agent such as a crosslinking agent, a reactive monomer, a reactive polymer, a polymerizing agent, an auxiliary polymerizing agent or a polymerization initiator.
