PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swirl flow prevention device for a fluid machine suppressing self-excited vibration of a rotation part by combining reduction of whirl force accompanying reduction of flow speed of working fluid and stabilization of the rotation part accompanying use of labyrinth seal load. SOLUTION: The swirl flow prevention device for the fluid machine relating to this invention is constructed to have an offset of a center O3of a section edge line 24c of a chamber 24 of a labyrinth seal device 20 provided between the rotation part and a stationary part enclosing the same to a rotation center O1of the rotation part 17.
