摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a (meth)acrylate derivative having little discoloring without passing through industrially complicated operation. SOLUTION: The method for producing a (meth)acrylate derivative of a polyoxyalkylene glycol comprises carrying out transesterification of the polyoxyalkylene glycol with a (meth)acrylate represented by general formula (I) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-5C alkyl group) in the presence of a catalyst. The polyoxyalkylene glycol is used in a state mixed with a neutralized salt of a catalyst obtained by neutralizing the catalyst used when the glycol is produced with phosphoric acid and the neutralization is carried out so that pH obtained when the polyoxyalkylene glycol mixed with the neutralized salt of the catalyst is diluted to an aqueous solution of 5 wt.% is 3.0 to 9.0.
