PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a posture of a chair to be vertical and control upper/lower supporting parts for supporting an elevating body to be arranged on a vertical line at an approximately center of the elevating body and the chair when the elevating body is declined in a double-rail type stair lift. SOLUTION: The elevating body 3 comprises a drive gear 10 for engaging with a rack 1a provided on an upper guide rail 1, first/second upper guide roller sets 6, 7 for tracing/moving on a track of the upper guide rail 1, and first/second lower guide roller sets 8, 9 for tracing/moving on a track of a lower guide rail 2. The first/second lower guide roller sets 8, 9 are mounted to a slider 14 movable along a slide rail 13 arranged/fixed on a lower surface of the elevating body 3. A positioning pin 15 projected from a lower part of a backside of the chair 4 is locked to a locking groove 16a of a positioning plate 16 mounted to the slider 14 and interlocked with the rotation of the chair 4 so as to be capable of position displacement in the track direction.
