PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle with a door opening peripheral edge structure capable of reducing a stress at a welding joint due to vibrations during vehicle travel, and avoiding cracks at or near a fillet welding part accompanied by the stress by loosening stress concentration at a welding joint between a roof rail outer forming an upper edge of the door opening and extending in forward and backward directions, and a pillar member forming a vertical edge of the door opening and extending in upward and downward directions of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: This door opening peripheral edge structure of a vehicle has a roof rail forming an upper edge of a door opening and obtained by jointing end edges of a roof rail outer and a roof rail inner extending in forward and backward direction of a vehicle body, and a pillar member extending in upward and downward directions of a vehicle body, jointed with the roof rail outer, and forming the vertical edge of the door opening. The upper part of the pillar member is formed along an outer surface shape of the roof rail outer. An inclined part inclined upward and downward in the forward and backward directions are formed at an upper edge of the pillar member, and the inclined part and the roof rail outer are jointed by fillet welding.
