PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame capable of preventing exfoliation of a joint between an upper member and a lower member at a portion bent and deformed in upward and downward directions by axial collision input. SOLUTION: A joint position W between an upper member 11 and a lower member 12 is shifted to a side to which a tensile force is applied by upward and downward bent deformation at an upward and downward deformation portion of a front side member 1. Therefore, when one of members is swollen in right and left directions and compression deformed at the bent deformation portion with an action border line L2 of a tensile force Fb and a compression force Fa as a starting point, the joint position W exists on the tensile side from the action border line L2, so as to restrain exfoliation load of the joint part W and prevent exfoliation.
