PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial woody board incorporated with used tea leaves and to promote effective use of the used tea leaves. SOLUTION: The woody board is fabricated by preparing a slurry containing a woody material, used tea leaves and water, drawing off the water from the slurry to form a woody mat having the woody material and the used tea leaves, and drying the woody mat. The woody board contains the woody material and the used tea leaves, the proportion of the used tea leaves is, in terms of a dry weight ratio, 5-60wt% based on the total weight of the woody material and the used tea leaves, and the board has an antibacterial action.
