PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension tube for a vacuum cleaner with which the situation of power feeding to an suction port body can be easily judged. SOLUTION: The extension tube is the one, of which a dust suction port body (not illustrated) is connected to one end, and which incorporates at least a pair of conductors 4 for feeding power to an electrical component (not illustrated) built in the suction port body, and in which a display means is electrically connected between the conductors 4 at the side of the suction port body (not illustrated), and it can be easily judged by the display means 6 whether or not power feeding is normally performed to the suction port body side of the extension tube 1 by the conductors 4, namely, whether or not power feeding is normally performed to the suction port body.
