A method for producing a laminate structure includes providing a first layer (1) comprising a substrate, forming an intermediate layer (5) of an effervescent composition (6) and a bonding agent (7) on the first layer, applying a second layer (2) onto the intermediate layer (5) to form a multilayered structure, and bonding the multilayered structure to produce a laminate structure, wherein at least one of the first and second layers is permeable to liquids.
