A method is disclosed for attenuating acquisition geometry imprint in seismic data. The method includes raising amplitudes of the data to a predetermined power, calculating weights, selecting a time slice of the seismic data and the weights, scaling the data with the weights, stacking the scaled data, stacking the weights, and dividing the stacked scaled data by the stacked weights. |
